Guest House in the Heart of Tepelenë
Panoramic View House sits on a quiet hilltop in Tepelenë, the historic town where the Vjosa and Drino rivers meet in southern Albania. Our family guesthouse is just a 7-minute walk from the town center, where you will find the Ali Pasha Castle, the Orthodox Church, local cafes, and the central bazaar.
Walk 15 minutes down to Ali Pasha’s Bridge to swim in the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the Vjosa — Europe’s last wild river. In the evenings, return to our balcony for panoramic views of the valley, homemade dinner, and a glass of raki.
What to See in Tepelenë
The Ali Pasha Castle dates to the 14th century and offers sweeping views of the town and river below — it was here that the Vjosa Wild River National Park was officially declared in 2023. Stroll through the town to find the Bust of Ali Pashë Tepelenë, the historic Dragot Bridge (a 114-meter suspension bridge from 1936), and the Goricane Monastery.
For nature lovers, Shelgu Park is a 20-minute walk from our guesthouse — perfect for a morning hike with mountain views. The Nivica Canyon, one of Albania’s hidden gems, is a short drive away.
