From your hosts: This is one of our personal recommendations for guests staying at Panoramic View House. We know this place well and we are happy to give you more details or help you get there.
The Beçishti Bridge is a beautifully preserved Ottoman stone bridge located near the village of Beçisht, within the Tepelenë municipality. These arched stone bridges are among the most distinctive features of the Albanian landscape, and the Beçishti Bridge is one of the finest examples in the region.
Built with local limestone in the classic Ottoman arch style, the bridge spans a tributary river with a single graceful arch. The stonework has weathered centuries of floods and mountain winters, and the setting — surrounded by green hills and clear water — makes it a beautiful subject for photography.
Beçisht is approximately a 10-minute drive from Tepelenë. The bridge is visible from the road and easily accessible on foot. It pairs well with a visit to the Benca Aqueduct, which is in the same area. Panoramic View House is about 10 minutes away by car.
